HSE and MHS Partnership
No high school diploma holding you back?
Learn how MHS can help!
Nearly 10% of Indiana’s adults age 25-64 don’t have their high school diploma. Workers who have a diploma earn over $8,000 more a year than those who don’t.
MHS and the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) want to make it easier for members to get their High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
The HSE is a way for adults to earn a high school diploma. Your HSE diploma can be earned after completing a test based on five subject areas including Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies.
Whether your goal is to get a better job or continue your education to get a certificate, 2-year associate degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree, earning your HSE diploma is the first step.
MHS covers the cost of the Indiana HSE test for HCC members.
It’s easy! Just call MHS Member Services. They will help you sign up to receive a voucher for the test and provide you with options for education classes to prepare. Call us today at 1-877-647-4848.
