Attention Members and Providers: MHS wants you to know about a recent drug recall.

On July 13, 2018, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Major Pharmaceuticals, Prinston Pharmaceuticals Inc. (dba Solco Healthcare) and Teva (Actavis) Pharmaceuticals Industries were all voluntarily recalling all lots of valsartan and valsartan-hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) products, to the pharmacy and patient level.

It is important that you do not make any changes in therapy without first consulting your doctor. Your doctor is the best person to recommend alternative therapies based on your specific treatment needs. Learn more at FDA Alert.
