How do I know if I’m eligible for SNAP?

To qualify for SNAP, you must meet certain income and asset requirements. If you apply, the Division of Family Resources (DFR) will determine your eligibility for SNAP.

What kind of requirements need to be met in order to receive SNAP benefits?

If your income is below the monthly limit, and you have $5,000 or less in assets (like a bank account) you may be eligible for SNAP. Check your eligibility by calling 1-800-403-0864 or online at fssabenefits.in.gov.
